The following information is for students who are interested in finding a drawing teacher, which is also a role I prefer to play: Being a student in math major for so long, as I did in the past five years, I finally decided to switch to architecture. Reasons? I love beautiful things, and I like to actually produce something real. You can learn math from me, since it was my major and I was pretty good at it; on the other hand, you can learn drawing with me. I like drawing with only pencils. The shadows and light illustrate the best composition of an object. Honestly I am not an art student; I taught mostly by myself. However, I thought when I learned, since no guidance around, I had to find my own way to learn, such as reading related books and mimicking work pieces of those who are good at drawing. So if you are a beginner at pencil drawing, do that with me! At a relatively low rate, as you see in my profile, I intend to setup a studio like drawing session. It might take 2 to three hours for each session and you will definitely DRAW ON YOUR OWN during that time. Although I do not hold a certification in teaching drawing, I believe my own way of teaching will help lead the students to really fond of drawing. As purposely designed like a drawing course, the tutoring I offer does have a time span. You will see how much you have achieved after finishing all the sessions. After that, you may decide if you want more professionalism with other authentic drawing teachers or start to hold drawing as your valuable hobbit. I will show you how to draw things that looks real by giving you guidance or make some small changes on your drawings. Note, my sessions will be introductory level, so it is the best for students who never learn to draw. Starting with some sessions that build confidence of drawing into students, the course will continue on showing how to draw geometry, some still life sketch and human figures eventually.Usually I hold 20 to 30 sessions for a student, depending on the progress of individuals.
