Hobbies

In a recent interview, I was asked “what gets you out of bed in the morning?” It had never occurred to me to how much insight that question has. My answer is simple. I am passionately in love with life. I love not knowing what a day will bring- who I will meet, what I will see, why the world will work in its beautiful and mysterious ways. As much as I love the highs, I am equally accepting and embracing of the lows. I believe in working hard and the struggle to accomplish goals and dreams. A holistic view of life and living is one I live by. I am passionate about exploring the world and spending time outside and in nature. I love food. Preparing food, sharing food, trying new foods. I love being active. There is rarely a sunny day that I do not go for a walk outside and I consider my yoga practice an essential part of who I am. Breathing, sweating, blood rushing- these are the sensations that I live for. Family, friends, community! The people in the world make this place so great. I’m endlessly curious about other people's lives and hearing about their journeys to discover who they are and what they believe in. Simply put, my passion is for being human and the incredible opportunity it is to be one.
