Hi, my name is Richard, and I recently moved to the area for my first engineering job. While I was in high school, I did a lot of tutoring in math of all levels, starting from my freshman year, when I joined the math honor society at my school and tutored Algebra 1 to uphold the honor society's service requirement. I later went on to tutor various facets of high school mathematics, both privately and for service hours. I have experience teaching students of different aptitudes for mathematics, from those struggling to keep afloat in what can be a rigorous endeavor, to those who wanted to venture even further ahead than the normal utmost limits that my school district could provide regularly. I strive to make math easy to learn by trying to first help students understand the big picture of what "this line of squiggles" really means, and then having them try things themselves.
