Education

Freshman at University of Michigan studying Political Science and Communications Whitney M. Young Magnet High School GPA: 5.1 (out of 5 scale)

Experience

I am currently a freshman at the University of Michigan studying both Communications and Political Science. I have learned to read and write at an extremely high caliber throughout my years of schooling, and have had some of my writings published. At my high school, I was a National Honor Society tutor for English, in which I helped to edit and format academic papers, and was a tutor for Algebra. I was also a Freshman Mentor and helped many freshman with organizational skills, as well as specific material pertaining to various classwork. Some qualifications on my academic skills in reading and writing include receiving a 36 on my reading section of the ACT, a 34 on my writing and english sections, receiving a 5 on my AP Composition of Language test, as well as receiving a 4 on my AP Literature test. Furthermore, I have many years of experience working with children of all ages (from infancy to teenhood), as a camp counselor, babysitter, and dance instructor, and am able to form strong bonds with kids, while being patient, and teaching them a lot.
