Education
I have a B.S. in Biology from Penn State and graduated with high distinction. I was also in the Schreyer Honors College which required honors science courses and writing a thesis focused on my undergraduate research. I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Michigan. I have taken graduate level cell biology, microbiology, immunology, and molecular biology classes.
Experience
I coach the life science subjects for a middle school Science Olympiad team. I also am a graduate student instructor for undergraduate microbiology classes at the University of Michigan. I enjoy teaching the life sciences to others because I think everyone should have an appreciation for the complexities of biology.
