EducationHi there! My name is Tim Hoffman, and I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Michigan planning on pursuing emergency medicine. Prior to coming to school here, I graduated from Hope College with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Spanish.
ExperienceDuring my undergraduate education, I tutored the subjects of general and organic chemistry. I also participated in peer tutoring in high school, primarily in math and science. I was homeschooled prior to high school, and so I learned a great deal about self-motivation and how to make the most of studying.
HobbiesIn my free time, I love hiking, camping, and playing ultimate frisbee. I played competitive sports in high school including winning the state championship with my team in tennis. In college, I played club ultimate frisbee for my school (yes, it is a real sport!) I am pursuing emergency medicine as a career, so I also spend time learning the newest data and studies related to my career field!
