Education
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish. In addition to my standard undergraduate coursework, I also spent a semester abroad studying Spanish in San José, Costa Rica, and completed a month-long internship in Medellín, Colombia. I also have also volunteered for translation projects organized by the University of Michigan Language Resource Center.
Experience
I've tutored students as a part of the University of Michigan Spanish Club and through this site. I have extensive experience with written and spoken Spanish in real world situations. I can help a student improve their conversational skills as well as refine their reading comprehension and writing abilities. My coursework in International Studies, as well as my own personal passion, has given me a strong foundation in topics relating to social studies, geography, and academic writing more generally, if the student seeks someone to help them with the likes of essays and reports.
