Education
I am currently a Master's student at Wayne State University in Basic Medical Sciences. I attended college at the University of Michigan, holding my Bachelor of Science in Women's Studies with a Minor in Biology.
Experience
I've spent periods of time tutoring in high school, but my primary focus is private college counseling. Graduating high school in 2010, I scored a 31 on my ACT and have most recently scored a 311 on my GRE. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. Most importantly, I spent last nine months working at the University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions as an Admissions Intern. I was assigned to the territory of Grosse Pointe, which is very similar in demographic to Ann Arbor. I can provide students and families aid in all steps of the college process, from exploring and choosing schools, applications, essays, etc. I know all of the right questions to ask, and come from the perspective of someone working directly in the field at a highly selective university. I am currently serving as a college counselor for four students, as well as frequently reading essays and personal statements for family friends and peers.
