I enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. I usually meet my students at a library or coffee shop. Most of my availability is in the evenings and on weekends, but I have some late morning and afternoon hours.
HobbiesI enjoy my crafts crocheting, knitting, sewing, and jewelry making. I like cooking and baking very much. I love my pets, which include cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a dog. I also play clarinet in the Washtenaw Community Concert band and enjoy gardening in my free time. I hope one day to travel to more places. I have already been to Japan, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, and the UK. I lived in Honolulu for 23 years before first moving to New Mexico and then to Michigan, where I've been since 1995. I thought I was only going to be here for a few years, but then I met my husband and ended up staying.
