I have worked for three years as a tutor. I tutored for two years at Loyola while I received my bachelor's in Psychology. I have also worked this past year as a private tutor. I find teaching to be a very rewarding challenge because I work hard to find each student's best learning style so they can have fun and learn at the same time. I thoroughly enjoy when students finally reach their "Ah ha!" moment with a subject that has been difficult for them, and I also enjoy following their progressive academic improvement with them as they understand their subject more and more. My plan is to go to school in the hopes of working toward a PhD in Neuropsychology soon. Right now, I work in the Visual Cognition Laboratory at Northwestern in Illinois, while I learn more before applying to graduate school. While not tutoring, I enjoy traveling, especially to Italy, as well as spending time with my family in my hometown of Cincinnati and indulging in cultural adventures like musical theatre and art museums. I love Ohio, and I often go there on weekends to spend time with my family.
