Experience
I have spent hundreds of hours tutoring both Math and Chemistry. The characteristic I believe sets me apart from other tutors is an exceptional willingness and ability to recognize each student's optimal learning style and to adjust my approach to that student. I see myself as more of a resource than an instructor, and prefer to let the student determine how he or she wants to use our time together. In addition to ensuring that that student gets what he or she is looking for from the tutoring session, this also helps to build good study habits. When I'm not working with students, I enjoy reading, rugby, football, and music.
