I am a tutor in Nashville, Tennessee. I attended Belmont University.Working with a tutor is a great way for a student to improve their learning. Students may have gaps in their understanding of subjects, as mass education may not meet each student's individual needs. Tutors help to bridge these gaps by working one-on-one with students. A tutor who invests time and energy into helping a student learn can improve that student's understanding of the subject. Since each student learns differently, and takes in and processes information differently, various teaching methods are required to help students learn effectively.My approach to tutoring is to understand that each student is unique and requires consideration of their own desires, abilities, and character. Through tutoring, I offer my students the opportunity to rise above the common tide.I tutor students in a variety of subjects, including arithmetic, elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, study skills and organization, English, and public speaking. In addition, I also help students prepare for the SAT exams, and teach music, guitar, and bass guitar.In addition to teaching, I also enjoy writing and playing music.
