Private tutor in Ann Arbor, MI
Hampton University - Bachelors, Physics , University of Michigan-Ann Arbor - PhD, Applied Physics
I attended Hampton University to earn my bachelor's degree in physics. I also earned a math minor. I then went on to the University of Michigan, where I recently finished my doctoral degree in applied physics. I love to teach, and I enjoy helping students come to an understanding of science and math topics. I believe in helping students build a full understanding of the subject as opposed to rote memorization, and in impressing on them the importance of taking charge of their own education by becoming self-sufficient learners. I can tutor subjects such as algebra, physics, calculus, differential equations, geometry, middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, physics, multivariable calculus, physical science, pre-algebra, and test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy dancing West African and salsa styles, cooking, attending concerts, reading, and writing.
