I am a tutor who has a strong background in education and in leadership roles. In college, I was in charge of the theater box office, editor of the weekly newspaper, and worked as a tutor for children in middle school. I am qualified to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects. I can tutor in Spanish and German, through all levels. I am also good at tutoring English topics such as reading, writing, essays, literature, and grammar. I can tutor students preparing to take standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, as well as numerous AP classes.I am particularly interested in helping students write essays and analyze literature. I try to make my sessions interesting enough so that they pique a student's curiosity, which in turn, will cultivate a strong desire to learn. I received a degree from Occidental College in English and Comparative Literary Studies and graduated with honors. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy yoga, reading, writing, volleyball, ballet, tennis, movies, learning different languages, visiting museums, and going to plays.
