I am a seasoned tutor with experience leading tutoring programs. I am passionate about science and mathematics. I'm here to help students in algebra, elementary math, geometry, arithmetic, pre-algebra, finite mathematics, trigonometry, ecology, Earth and life sciences, biochemistry, environmental science, and general biology. I received my degree in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in mathematics at Morehouse College. I worked extensively as a tutor while I was an undergraduate student and after I graduated. I tutored college students in biology, math, and chemistry, worked with high school and middle school students through the Frederick Douglass Tutorial program, and participated in a variety of others programs aimed at helping students learn and achieve success. Following graduation I tutored students through the Dreams to Teach program. I am now working as a research assistant in a lab assisting with a number of scientific projects. I bring my passion and experience to my tutoring and I am committed to motivating my students. I understand that every student is different, and that as an educator it is my duty to develop different teaching strategies that fit my student's individual needs. When I'm not tutoring and I love being active, whether through swimming or biking. I also frequently conduct research and volunteer at hospitals.
